Was actively involved in the logistical planning, sponsorship, publicity and event management of the festival-Increased the alumni contribution from the region of West Bengal by 25% YoY. Also responsible for a corporate deal with Samsung India.-Coordinated publicity in Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar; participation increased by 10% YoY from these regions-Part of Guest Reception team to handle & receive guests; personally received KK, Raghu Dixit & Rakesh Bedi-Reduced Guest Reception budget by 20% YoY despite the increase in number of guests

I was in the CIO Advisory division which comes under the umbrella of Technology Consulting practice of PwC India. -Test executed the Data-Warehouse of a client, a telecom giant, using SQL and documented more than 20 bugs -Created 12 Business Intelligence(BI) reports in a BI tool, OBIEE, using Data-warehouse of the client-Created an in-depth report on the data warehousing requirements for HR Analytics -Listed down 94 KPI’s for measuring employee performance, attrition etc. and made a sample HR Dashboard -Gained insight in fundamentals of Predictive & Big Data Analytics and its application in consulting domain

The battery manufacturing plant of Eveready Industries was moving to a different location in Kolkata. My project was to make a prototype of all the electrical connections which would be laid out in the new plant: -Studied the operations of battery manufacturing; Gained insight in Total Quality Management (TQM) -Used AutoCAD to locate Power Distribution Boards(PDB) and determined the length of cables connected to it-Calculated cable size and rating of circuit breakers after studying electrical layout of machines and PLC’s-The results prompted them to set up a new cable tray line, which reduced length of the cables by over 20%

Taragana is a startup which provides SAAS. One of its marquee products is its CRM Software known as Relaso. -Analyzed Relaso software against other prevalent CRM software and suggested improvements for user-friendliness and visual appeal-Responsible for black box debugging(testing) of the CRM software; reported more than 50 bugs in the system -Drafted a total of 52 reports to document the CRM software from a layman’s point of view

One of the 20 first years(out of 600 applied) selected as the Associate Member of Spring Fest 2012-Coordinated with 3 co-members and publicized the festival in over 80 colleges in Kolkata and Durgapur-Utilized participant data efficiently to disseminate information, resulting in 30% YoY increase in participation-As a part of Procurement and Accommodation team cut inventory losses to 3% by ensuring proper security
