•Created and implemented an Ads SDK for Bluestacks/now.gg, enabling seamless integration of ad requests for clients.Collaborated on upgrading the Android codebase from AOSP version 7 to 13, resulting in a 45% decrease in application compatibility issues.•Utilized LXC (Linux Containers) technology for creating and managing containerized Android environments deployed in cloud infrastructure.•Successfully implemented various features resulting in a 40% reduction in AWS cloud costs associated with AWS EFS, AWS FsX, S3, and EC2. Additionally, optimized the build and deployment process, boosting productivity and minimizing downtime.•Utilized WebRTC to develop file upload and download capabilities, facilitating seamless file sharing between users’ machines and the cloud instance.•Devised a solution to deploy incremental updates via AWS EFS, significantly reducing deployment time from 2 hours to just 3 minutes.•Introduced modifications to the AWS infrastructure and Android apps, contributing to scaling the project from 10,000 to 10M daily active users (DAU).

During my internship, I had the opportunity to work on several key tasks:-Backporting Changes: I was responsible for backporting changes from a newer version of Bluestacks (N) to an older version (L). This process aimed to enhance the stability of our product for specific use cases. By implementing these changes, we were able to ensure a higher level of reliability and performance.-Proficient in Android Framework: Acquired an extensive understanding of the Android Framework during my internship, encompassing familiarity with various languages and tools employed within the framework.-Conducted Competitor Analysis: Undertook reverse engineering of competitor products to pinpoint vulnerabilities within our own product. Employed meticulous examination and analysis to comprehend their functionality and identify areas for improvement. By addressing these shortcomings, we successfully bolstered our competitive advantage in the market.
