About Ayushi Agarwal

I am a final year BSc Psychology student at The University of Manchester, with an experience of a placement year as a people's experience intern at Jaguar Land Rover. I am passionate about understanding the human mind and behaviour, and applying psychological principles to improve the well-being and performance of individuals and organisations. Through my internship, I have contributed to key projects on JLR's agenda, such as designing, diagnosing, and delivering people-focused solutions, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and supporting the company's transformation into an electrical business. I have also gained valuable interpersonal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. In addition, I have volunteered to support and inspire girls and young women, and to provide quality bespoke support to young people with autism and their families. I have completed specialist training and education on effective strategies to help people with mental health difficulties and special needs. I am empathetic, resilient, conscientious, and hard-working. I have a strong interest and aptitude in psychology, and I aspire to pursue a career in clinical neuroscience, where I can help reduce distress and enhance the quality of life of people.
