I led change in the key areas of strategic planning, communications, and program development. In this role, I managed two departments, a small staff team, and over 70 volunteers. I ensured compliance with applicable provincial and municipal regulations, built partnerships with other organizations, and was accountable for over 15% of the Cathedral’s $2M budget.The focal point of this work was the transformation of the Cathedral’s 20-year old food programs from a charitable model to one pursuing justice. This transformation allowed the program to become more responsive to the needs of guests, volunteers, and staff. As part of this work, I was able to identify and attract over $500,000 in new funding from individuals and foundations. -
