- Tasked with design and execution of the investment strategy of the policy holder and shareholders,including in assisting in designing optimum ALM strategy for the business.- Looking over the general asset portfolios and unit linked product portfolio, in addition accountableas the unit linked pricing manager, tasked with conducting board meetings with top levelmanagement on the unit linked products.- Conduct fixed income & equity analysis including building reports for investment feasibility andstrategy. In addition, building financial models, creating and maintaining investments data andeconomic databases.- Oversight on investment governance and compliance with the comprehensive AIA groupinvestment governance compendium framework.- Leveraging power bi dashboards to build investment related dashboard for oversight, decisionmaking and work flow automation.

- Managing daily fund liquidity and investment strategy for the three mutual funds.- Briefing portfolio managers regularly on investments performance and credit outlook of issuers.- Preparing and presenting portfolio performance and strategy to the investment committee monthly.- Sourcing and negotiate for the best possible investment options for the portfolio manager.- Briefing the sales teams with the latest economic policies, interest rates and fund-relatedinformation.- Preparing monthly reporting on the three funds and competitor analysis reports.- Working on multiple business development projects for the funds.

The role involved working with a team, as an offshore analyst for a Business Intelligence Platform where daily work executed included;• Writing and maintaining industry reports on geographies (India, Malaysia and Singapore) covering a multitude of sectors such as Banking & Financial Services, Real estate, FMCG and Infrastructure.• Preparation of full-fledged industry reports for India on the FMCG industry.• Building macro-economic industry databases.• Attending to ad hoc client research requests which ranged from macro analysis, peer comparisons to brief industry reviews.• Improving the company database by data verification related to company financials and mapping companies to their respective industry sub-segment.
