I am a broadcast news journalist with over 15 years of working experience. In my last broadcast journalism position, I was an anchor and senior producer at a Pakistani English-language news channel called Indus News. I was hosting an international current affairs program, Newswire, that focused on conflict zones in the Middle East. I have also worked for CNN's Islamabad bureau as a producer, writing news stories for their digital platform and assisting the Bureau chief in news coverage of Pakistan.I also have extensive marketing and sales experience in technical products as well as in the textile and fashion industry. I've taken up various writing, freelance reporting and production gigs for various international news outfits.I've reported on international conflicts and politics, local politics, education, health and environment beats from Lahore.I hosted The Morning Show as well as bulletin news for Express 24/7 , a Pakistani English-language news channel. I was also the Head of the Planning Department at Express-News, Lahore Head Office.Stationed in Lahore, I was the city anchor for current affairs programs for Dawn News: In Focus and various special transmissions.
