With the long name I have, people would conveniently call me ‘Azad’ — literally means ‘freedom’. Before progressing to the management position I am now, my R&D career started in 2007 with series of projects including development of technology to objectively assess the subjective behaviour propensity, formation of a scientific social marketing initiatives, enhancement of transport policy; inter-alia.I am grateful for the experience of various international and local research and consultation projects cutting across diverse fields and sectors; also for the opportunities to share knowledge and insights with variety of audiences on the international and local platforms.Presently, as the Chief Research Officer at the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research, I am responsible for the strategic direction of research and development the Institute is, and will be focusing in the future. Moving forward, I would like to expand my contribution in making the world more sustainable. Terima kasih, jom!
