Working on two research projects in the Politics and Narratives Migration research theme under the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration and Integration.

Taught a third-year course on gender politics in relation to advanced capitalist countries in York University's Politics department.

Member of the organizing committee for the 2019 Annual Pow-wow, as well as the Metis Jig and Inuit Feast at York University. Also co-ordinated the recruitment and facilitation of volunteer work for these events.

Conducted research and interviews in the Welland-Pelham region about community building and newcomer integration.

Assisted in the research, recording, editing, presentation, and dissemination of video content for the "Global Movement Assemblages Symposium" held by the Social Justice Research Institute (SJRI) at Brock University.

Assisted in the research, planning, and design of a fourth-year course regarding advocacy engagement. Conducted interviews with members of civil society organizations. Research areas included: Syrian refugee crisis, Canada's Temporary Migrant Workers Programs, and the protests at the 2010 G20 Summit in Toronto.
