Running a four day a week newscast with minimal people meant wearing multiple hats at the same time and working as a team. I shot and edited two packages per week as a reporter, 100% one man band. I anchored once a week, and would always come in early to read over scripts and change anything that did not flow well. I also paid special attention to my transitions and voice, continuously working on improving them both. As a Producer I edited scripts, created the rundown, booked a guest for the show, provided both the guest and the host with the questions at least a week prior to the show date, went over everything with the crew before the show, and timed the show. As Technical Director I paid close attention to the Director while also keeping an eye on the cameras, anchors, and Producer in case the Director missed anything I would catch it so it would not go on air. As a floor director I would give clear cues for the anchors. As a Production Assistant I would help set up the studio, mic up guests, operate cameras in studio, run playback, operate the sound board, and operate CG's. Each day I played a different role, but no matter that role everyone on my team understood how important it was to perform well for the entire team to be successful. This drove us all to work extremely hard and be dedicated to the success of our show.

Balanced several hats while attaining hands on experience at an advertisement agency. Used Wordpress to update client's websites, including The Smith Center and Wynn Resorts. Pulled website assets and organized to be put onto websites. Searched for new clients and gave their information to owners. Recorded staff hours worked and created invoices for clients. Organized all company documents and created digital filing system. Maintained office supply inventory and equipment. Ran errands including; personal errands, dropping off products for clients, and dropping off gifts for clients. Answered all phone calls and greeted guests. Set up office in the morning for the day.

Ensured article body, title, and photo captions were error free, followed AP guidelines, conformed to the publication's style, and were easy to read. Made sure chosen images were of high quality and made sense for the article. Made edits in a timely manner to keep on tract with the papers deadlines.

Worked directly with the Producer writing scripts for satellite interviews and creating graphics for the show. Worked directly with the Associate Producer editing the show and putting it onto the website, writing for the website, answering the contest phone, taking photos for the show's Facebook page, and mic'ing up guests. Spoke to multiple hosts on several occasions to gain as much knowledge as possible on improving my voice, writing, and reel. Ran teleprompter.

Exemplifies leadership to other members through taking on a leadership position in my second semester in the chapter. Kept extremely organized and detailed notes of all meetings and attendance and kept all notes throughout my term. Kept track of absences and notified members that would be placed on probation due to lack of attendance. Actively participated in weekly Executive Board meeting while keeping detailed notes of these meetings as well. Helped coordinate Alpha Xi Delta with Autism Speaks for fundraising and events. Assisted organizing Alpha Xi Delta for Relay for Life.
