I began flying in 2012 and early on discovered how much joy, excitement, and comradery aviation brought. I soon realized flying would become an overpowering passion that would overtake my driven personality and motivate me no matter how long it took.At the same time, I started working in the logistics and warehouse industry to help finance my new passion. I quickly became a driven professional logistics administrator and within 3 years was offered a warehouse manager position where I was valued for creating and implementing unique solutions to logistic issues and meeting customer obligations. Over the years, I supplemented my full-time work schedule with continuing my flight training and working as a ramp agent with WestJet, check-in/gate agent with Air Canada Rouge, and other aviation roles like loading L188, CV580 and Q400 aircraft for Conair Aerial Firefighting.Like everyone, I have had some great instructors and some not-so-great instructors. Through industry flying and instructing, I've learned a lot through observing and absorbing what I feel are safe, unique, and possitive techniques and rejecting unsafe, improper and negative attitudes and practices. I strive to provide the highest training I possibly can and transfer these skills and values to future pilots. I hope to one day leave instructing fulfilled in the fact I empowered and motivated my students to be the safest, conciencious, and knowledgeable they can be in their flying careers.
