• In June-August 2014 coordinated WFP preparedness team in Ukraine, represented WFP in United Nations Country Team and in the relations with the Government;• Initiated and sustained liaison with the Government authorities as well as key humanitarian actors, NGOs to establish the WFP presence in Ukraine;• Supported preparation and negotiation of the agreement with the Government of Ukraine to establish the WFP Office in Ukraine;• Prepared timely analytical and critical reports including proposals for WFP operation in Ukraine;• Kept track of the Government’s humanitarian policy and response activities;• Contributed to design and implementation of WFP Immediate Response Emergency Operation (IR EMOP) and full-fledged Emergency Operation (EMOP) in eastern Ukraine;• Coordinated WFP Emergency Food Security Assessment and establishment of M&E system for WFP EMOP; Contributed to designing and maintaining of databases of indicators relating to food security and WFP projects.

Developed a Framework document and Terms of Reference for a UNDP-led Multi-Stakeholder Development Fund, namely:• Drafted a Framework document for the UNDP Crimean Development Fund Facility (CDFF), which included baseline analysis, description of development challenges for Crimea; review of international experience in establishment of novel financial development instruments, MPTF; mapping of potential contributors to CDFF; tentative governance model for CDFF.• Contributed to the development of draft Facility Terms of Reference and operational framework for CDFF, as well as other relevant documents as agreed with UNDP

• Managed capacity development component for SMEs on trade liberalization, free trade with EU (DCFTA), trade finance covering more than 700 participants from SMEs and public administration at national and local level; coordinated and supervised work of national and international experts involved in related activities;• Contributed to SME capacity building needs assessment, policy analysis and research on trade and integration;• Analyzed short- and long-term trends and developments in international trade, including agricultural sector;• Provided analytical and advisory support to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food on trade liberalization negotiations, international integration;• Sustained liaison with government agencies and officials, both at local and national levels, NGOs, partners, donors and communities to provide knowledge and understanding, ensuring an accurate interpretation of the project’s mission and outcomes.

Designed and implemented communication strategy and visibility action plans for the project; Maintained relations with the Government and EU Delegation for the smooth implementation of the project; Served as project's Results Based Management (RBM) focal point; Prepared progress and final project reports to donors (EU, UNDP, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland) in accordance with project management guidelines and RBM requirements; Prepared project proposals to donors (EU, SIDA, IrishAid etc); Provided advice to Project Manager on EU-UNDP contractual framework and EU technical assistance policy and modalities; Maintained project media relations for reaching different target audiences through organizing press-conferences and interviews, drafting feature stories; Coordinated the conduct of high profile public events and launch of project publications.

Coordinated Millennium Development Goals and poverty alleviation/economic development program of the UNDP in Ukraine; Advised on implementation of the projects related to Ukrainian economic development. Served as UNDP Ukraine focal point for human development and economic programmes; Coordinated preparation of National Human Development Report 2008 “Human Development and Ukraine’s European Choice” and conduct of International Poverty Alleviation Conference in Kyiv, April 2008

Provided advice and analytical support to the senior officials of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (Prime-Minister, Deputy Prime-Ministers) regarding the political agenda of Ukraine’s European integration, including Ukraine’s membership in the Council of Europe, security cooperation in Europe; Reviewed relevant draft legal acts; Provided support to the negotiation teams; Drafted talking points and background materials for high level meetings, foreign visits and negotiations; Prepared minutes, reports, non-papers and policy papers on EU-Ukraine relations, EU assistance to Ukraine and Ukraine's membership in the Council of Europe; Represented the Department of European Integration in various meetings and working groups
