Cases include: Drug de-addiction: Depending on the substances of abuse appropriate action has to be taken to relieve the client of his sufferings. Between one month to two months a person can be taken off substances of abuse using NLP and directive counseling. Substances that have been dealt with: heroin, both injecting and snorting, cigarettes, chewing tobacco and alcoholStress Relief: stress can be imbibed without ones knowledge and the repercussions can be dire to the client and to those around the client, the stressor once identified can be encountered with offering emotional assistance and prescribing self administering procedures. Clients that have developed suicidal tendencies, stammering, and physical violence against the spouse have all been freed of the symptoms and are leading a normal life.Phobia cures: A Phobia can be acquired at a very early age and can become deeply ingrained into the person over a period of time. Here the subject has to be able to part with information from the onset of the phobia for the therapist to provide necessary interventions. In such cases, a combination of Hypnosis and directive counseling is necessary. Phobias include: claustrophobia, fear of cancer, fear of lizards. Emotional instability: Due to various negative influences within the society a person can enter into a state of dilemma or mental fatigue and thus become emotionally unstable making him unsure of what he wants for himself in life. Here hypnosis and counseling skills can be administered to make the person once again independent and develop a zest for life. Depression cases have been dealt with.

In the academy I have been giving awareness lectures on various psycho-therapies and techniques of counseling. I have performed the duties of a counselor offering my services weekly to anyone in need. Apart from the traditional non directive counseling, I am also an NLP Practitioner for them using Hypnosis as a tool to overcome certain issues. People from all walks of life come to the Academy to seek assistance and an in depth understanding of human emotions is necessary to be able to render assistance. Many a times, anger is a common culprit. Anger can be tackled using NLP or for a milder degree, non directive counseling can be the mode of assistance.
