Precast members production unit manager. The process of creating a member from scratch to a fully functional unit. Precast is an advanced construction technology where all members such as beam , rcc, etc are produced in the factory and directly transported to the site. The members are assembled at the the site (basically arranging legos) which reduces the construction time by a great margin. These structures are more study and dependable than conventional construction.Overall it was a great learning experience as I understood the use of mechanical machines like volumetric concrete mixers upto 1 ton capacity, gravel, stones , sand storages, slab laying german machines , steam proofing mechanisms , large coveyor belts etc.By my definition precasting is a process similar to baking where the members are prepared on the bed with help of moulds , placing rcc , poring concrete mix , using vibrators and then steamed to avoid cracks and failures. It involved QCC standard tests , measurements , lab testing , member load testing , curing etc which i have carried out along with supervisors and department heads.The owner of the company is a great and humble natured individual with a vison Mr Satish and I have learned many personality development lessons spending my time with him. The plant manager is a staright forward and sharp individual, never treated me as just an intern .Seeing my capabilities and managing skills at a young age he acknowleged me and has invited me to further join him again as soon as I complete my engineering as a full time manager.This was my first experience working in a company and im looking forward to gain much more knowledge.
