With over 13 years of work experience in the finance field, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing services. I am currently the Finance Director at JOCAP, a joint venture between SOCAR and TOTAL for the development of one of the largest gas fields in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea. I am proud to be part of a dynamic and diverse team that works on a multi-billion USD project that contributes to the energy security and economic development of the region.As the Finance Director, I am responsible for managing the finance team, overseeing CMS procedures, chart of accounts, and other financial processes, securing the multimillion dollar annual budget and funds for seamless operation, and ensuring compliance with international and statutory financial reporting standards. I also facilitate various financial audits and provide support to external auditors. I have successfully implemented IFRS-based reporting packages and financial statements, prepared quarterly and annual profit tax returns, and prepared comparative and budget versus actual analytics for the management of the company. I leverage my skills in financial accounting, financial reporting, and accounting to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable financial information and insights.
