Total budget of approximately US $500,000.• Streamlined the GST/HST calculation process for easier review and reconciliation of indirect tax returns. Also prepared standard operating procedure document (SOP) for the preparation and filing of monthly HST returns.• Canadian subject matter expert (SME) on Invesco-wide global team assessing the impact of global Oracle R12 implementation. Key member of testing and evaluation team for the ebTax module.• Created SOP documents for 40 tax processes in preparation for offshoring of Canadian direct and indirect taxation services.

• Developed a complex Excel mutual fund distribution model to calculate tax distributions for more than 70 mutual funds, incorporating tax rules and regulations.• Drafted tax department SOX control documents, and developed and maintained SOX SOPs.• Facilitated external consultant’s completion of Transfer Pricing (TP) studies for Invesco Canada’s key intercompany transactions. Directed the preparation of annual updates to TP documentation and the compilation of documentation submissions to CRA.
