Mr. Azhar is finishing his doctorate in agribusiness as scholar, who holds dual affiliations from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan, and the University of Florida, USA. He specializes in academia-industry connections, consumer market dynamics, value chain governance, and challenges of stallholders in emerging markets. With eight years of experience in teaching and research, he has worked on national and international projects for organizations like Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission, Asian Development Bank, ICARDA and USAID. While working on his Ph.D., he collaborated with the US Department of Agriculture to establish Guava Growers’ Cooperatives in Homestead, (Miami) the Unites States. He has taught university level courses on business research, marketing, and agribusiness management. He presented his research at multiple international symposiums at AAPCEC (Ethiopia), IFAMA (New Zealand and Spain), UFL (USA) and has published in a journal with Cambridge University.
