Software Development Manager
Current• Managed and successfully delivered multiple multi-million-dollar IT projects in terms of cost, quality, and timeliness of software development, Quality Assurance, and release management and Change Control.• Lead the team of software developers for the development of various business-critical software applications for Saudi Railways.• Responsible for Planning and forecasting the IT project budget and allocating the approved project budget for prospective IT project phases and sub-projects within the Railways.• Single point of contact for managing vendor IT teams of programmers and analysts during project implementation and support periods.• Communicate and consult with the end-users from various departments such as Passenger Business Unit (PBU), Operations department, Finance, HR, etc. and ascertain to fulfill the business requirements of the project. • Led the team in the implementation of Office-365 including the migration from the on-premises Exchange server to Microsoft O-365.• Establish and implement new IT rules and procedures by reviewing the Business continuity & disaster recovery plans and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) regularly.• Managed the project for the implementation of corporate Business Intelligence and reporting tool on Microsoft Power BI and fulfilled the dashboard and reporting requirements of the railway’s passenger business unit and higher management.
