As a Houston native, I've grown up with a diverse group of cultures and peoples surrounding me. Lucky to have this experience, I was taught the value of community, and I believe everyone in their community should take a turn at being a leader. Currently, I'm serving as the Professional Development chair at the University of Houston's Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers. This opportunity is a way for me to directly empower other students with a professional support system, and as I continue to push my limits, I share my new knowledge and experience with my peers. At Powell, as an Electrical Product Design Engineer Intern, I leverage my analytical skills, knowledge of power systems, and problem solving skills, to contribute to impactful hands-on projects. Previously, I honed these competencies at Bank of America, where my Data Analytics internship involved critical financial insights. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at UH, I apply my studies in real-world scenarios. Using my proficiency in AutoCAD, KICAD, MatLAB, SolidWorks, C++, and Java, I bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical engineering solutions, poised to deliver value in the evolving tech landscape. As I continue to build my technical skills and my confidence as a speaker, I hope I can drive my peers the same way they empower me.
