Azita Yazdani is the Founder and CEO of Exergy Systems Inc., a company deploying advanced separation technologies for circular manufacturing. She is an accomplished environmental technology executive and a clean tech expert, with over 25 years of industry and regulatory experience. She received the Resources Award from the International Sustainability Summit Working Group for her work on advanced membrane and electrochemical technologies and has served on Presidential National Advisory Council for Environmental Protection and Technology (NACEPT).Ms. Yazdani has also served as Technology and technical advisor to the EPA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and EPA Sustainable Industry Project. She Currently serves on the Women Leadership Initiative Advisory Committee for the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA). Ms. Yazdani is also a contributor to the “Industrial Pollution Prevention Handbook” published by McGraw-Hill.Ms. Yazdani completed her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of California Berkeley, and the Entrepreneurial Management program at the UCLA Anderson School of Business. She is a registered chemical engineer in California.Azita is considered an expert in Clean tech and material/resource recovery technologies. She has deep domain expertise and knowledge of the water and materials use in commerce and has spend her career implementing and delivering "zero-footprint" plants and processes.
