I have been involved in the production of multiple shows, where I assisted with both scenic construction and lighting installation teams. We were able to load most of our sets and lighting plots under the allotted amount of time we had the space. I was able to improve some of the rigging systems for moving fixtures to increase safety and reduce the amount of sway present during operations.

As a design engineer I have been involved in the design and production of structural elements for projects across multiple sectors. I have produced engineering drawings and calculations for steel, concrete, CMU, wood, and aluminum structures. I am heavily involved in construction administration for all Orlando projects, processing and reviewing incoming submittals and RFI's, up to a dozen projects simultaneously. I have also performed site visits for both site investigation and construction progress. During my first few months at McNamara Salvia I focused on BIM modeling and produced models and details for healthcare and hospitality projects. I also started creating a new typical detail database for use in future Orlando office projects

At South Park theatre I was one of the primary members of the team that constructed all sets and some props for shows during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Our sets were highly efficient and reused many elements from previous shows.

As a games technician I repaired amusement park game components including arcade games, midway games, and their supporting facilities. I was able to expand my knowledge of mechanical and electronic machines the old fashioned way by taking them apart, diagnosing them, and putting them back together.

In 2016 I came back to Kennywood to help expand my knowledge of complex machines and large structures by working as a member of the rides maintenance team during my summer and winter breaks. During operating days we would inspect our assigned rides every morning and make any necessary repairs or adjustments to the attractions. I was able to gain experience with many different types of rides from classic flat rides, to water based attractions, and, of course, roller coasters. As a new member of the ride mechanic team I was trained under 2 state certified inspectors, and continued working with state certified inspectors on my daily inspections of the attractions.

During my summer with Barton Malow I was part of the structural construction management team. I gained experience working with RFI's, submittals, material tracking, and project completion data. I further expanded my skills in interpreting construction drawings and BIM coordination by preparing for coordination meetings and writing RFI's. I also had the unique experience of developing logistics playbooks for upcoming and potential new themed entertainment sector projects.

While taking classes in engineering, I also wanted to expand my creative horizons by taking classes in Purdue's theatre department. Alongside these theater classes I obtained a part time position assisting lighting professors and graduate students in the hang/focus/strike process for shows in the '17-'18 season including "Cabaret", "The Mousetrap", "Clybourne Park", and "The Sins of Sor Juana".

To accompany my engineering education at Purdue I working in the Bowen Structural Engineering Lab. During my time I was able to observe many experiments involving both classic and unconventional engineering materials. Part of my duties included drafting lab floor layout plans in AutoCAD based on markups of the current projects on the lab floor. I was able to assist some of the graduate students with their projects during this time as I was in charge of upkeep for the lab including materials for the testing rigs.

As a games supervisor I was responsible for the management, scheduling, and training of 7 fellow team members at my game stand. I was responsible for counting and tracking of the money in our stand, which maintained it's status of one of the park's most successful.I was also moved to the "rover" manager position, where I would manage a stand when their typical supervisor had their day off. This allowed my to develop my management skills with many different groups and customers in different situations.
