Manage revenue streams with a value of US$6-8bn/year, and oversee Hydrocarbon Accounting Reporting for Pearl GTL Finance, establishing and maintaining processes and effective accounting systems, for a major Green Field manufacturing project. I have been successful in improving the payment processing time for the Government’s share of revenue by 30 %.I work closely with the Marketing department in providing financial support and information for Commercial Agreements and Initiatives, and in preparing accurate Management Information, including variance analysis. I also line manage a team of four staff, overseeing all recruitment, training, mentoring and performance evaluation.

I was accountable for all governance and assurance matters for Pearl GTL Marketing, setting up systems and procedures for Order to Cash Processes. I prepared and delivered the Marketing Management System and Credit Manual, and the Business Plan for Marketing Costs and report actuals.In addition, I developed a comprehensive Road Map to allow the marketing department to track initiatives in preparation for operational readiness

I led and supported multiple complex finance projects in Asia, including: - Global Corporate Card roll-out for all Shell Entities in Malaysia- Centralization of financial activities from Supply Philippines and Australia to Singapore- Off-shoring of financial services from Downstream Business in Shell Malaysia to Shared Business Services Centre- LPG Business Divestment for Shell Malaysia- Aspired Portfolio Project for Group Strategy Team in the Hague

I had key responsibility for all capital expenditure (CAPEX) for depots in Shell Malaysia, developing and evaluating all Depot Master Plans and evaluating CAPEX plans, report actuals and Latest Estimates against plan. I led and maintained the Country Master plan, identifying optimal Supply and Distribution Network.

As Distribution Efficiency Manager, I managed a team of seven people, ensuring the team was adequately trained and motivated and thereby maximising productivity and efficiency.We prepared and evaluated investment proposals including the JV Depot with Petronas in Bintulu, and the relocation project from Kuching Depot to Senari. I also developed the Distribution Business Plan, providing timely management information on business performance, executing audits and implementing IT projects. I was successful in leading the SCRAPE (Structural Cost Reduction – Aiming for Prudence and Efficiency) workshop which identified various cost reduction initiative in the depots.In addition, I acted as Westport Operations Manager, and during my tenure the haulier achieved semi-professional status.
