A 6-month internship as a financial controller for the Northern Europe Branch. I assisted the CFO on his daily missions for two subsidiaries : Petit Bateau Belgium in Brussels and Petit Bateau UK in London• Audited the management control tools in both subsidiaries. Improved and systemized the processes• Synchronized reporting with a new user friendly and technologically up-to-date consolidation process• Clarified the yearly department budget and designed strategic follow-up activities• Financial modeling of multi-channel revenue projections • Provide recommendations on wide range of investment possibilities: store openings, online sales operations• Supervised operational cash flows and AP/AR

I assisted the Department in his daily missions in the following areas: Eastern Europe, Middle East, North Africa. Therefore I was in charge of:• Customer Relationship management with dealers in Algeria and Tunisia under the supervision of the Department manager: dealing with the trade negotiations – Budget Management – Showroom sales – Order management• Weekly Financial reporting for the whole area & Monthly Business Review as well as sales analysis for each country and Buying Reports.• Following that the Marketing policy of the brand was respected in the area – Design/adaptation of marketing tools – Conception of the monthly newsletter• Prospection for new dealers in the area – looked for partners in Cyprus, Algeria, Tunisia, EAU, Israel & Jordan
