Local Procurement - P2P Cycle – CAPEX/OPEX Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers ensuring delivery of goods and services Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop strategic procurement plans.  Support or lead streams of work including RFQ development using ORACLE FUSION ERP, approach to market, evaluation processes, and contract management, compliance assessment, gap analysis, risk assessment, pricing and value for money assessment for on time delivery Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.  Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock to prevent shortages or excess. Conduct regular cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost reduction.  Maintain accurate reporting for all key areas, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information. b. Contracts Management and Life Cycle Management Managing RFx and formal tender process including but not limited to scope of work review, budget and historical spent analysis, identified potential risks and opportunities, development of sourcing strategy, prequalification, ITT preparation, issuance and receipt Managing tender clarification, non-conformance qualifications and exceptions. Reviewing contractors rate built and conducting cost review and analysis. Conducting contract negotiation, evaluation, recommendation and contract award. Prepare and distribute Contract and Materials Management Progress reports. As necessary prepare the contract templates based on the contract & provide amendments to the original contract. Coordinating and administering contracts revisions, progressing claims and preparation of contract variations. Managing evaluation and negotiation of contractual claims. Maintaining commercial register including correspondence, bank guarantees, progress claims, variations and insurances

-Issue and Record the Permit to Work (PTW) system, ensuring training is given when required and vendors are suitably qualified.- Advise, Promote and Monitor the safe carrying out of work in the workplace, promote Safety culture for all HSSE related activities.-Conduct Asset condition surveys of cranes within area of responsibility.- Prepare for Bi-weekly and Monthly Maintenance schedule and record to discuss operational performance.-Assess the extent of equipment repair or replacement requirements necessary and make recommendation for the most efficient and economic means.-Carry out quality checks of recently completed maintenance and repair work and repair work to be ensured that properly carried out.- Liaising with 3PL Contractors and International teams to ensure projects are delivered within minimum disruption to sites

Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance management of Ship to Shore Gantry Crane /Quay Cranes ( Gearboxes, Reducers, Srructure Inspection)- Applying engineering knowledge to the operations of Ship to Shore Gantry Cranes i.e. Quay Cranes , their breakdowns, maintenance and overlooking operations schedule in accordance with availability- Using Maximo software for the Job requirements, Purchasing and Procurement, Quotation analysis and dealing with Domestic/International Vendors.- Providing strategic oversight to key projects and commissioning of new cranes and maintenance activities- Experience of Commissioning 9x Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (ZPMC) with ZPMC Sri Lanka and ZPMC China delegation-Management of all HSE Matters in line with DP World’s policy and safety guidelines to comply with Ports and Terminal International Standard- Hazard Analysis, Permit Issuance , Review of Job Safety Analysi (JSA) and Work clearances for maintenance activities
