 Responsible for the formulating Asphalt Mix Design either by SUPERPAVE Method or Marshal Method as per specification requirements.  Technical discuses with my staff on daily basis. Supervising engineering and technical staff, under taking relevant research providing technical advice about the suitability of materials. Problem solving, advising about planning and organizing inspection maintince and repairs overseeing operational quality processes.  Supervise quality assurance and quality control inspection problems. Control, monitor the concrete production in order to ensure the concrete proportioning is accurate for specific structure and uniformity proportional its batching operation. Supervising coordinating and initiating calibration of plant equipment’s testing machines and material laboratory testing apparatus. Reject works and materials not in accordance with specification. Shall verify all material to be furnished by contractor if it’s in accordance with the specification likewise, witness and monitor the required test if properly conducted. Conduct materials testing service including calibration of testing equipment’s.• Assesses material testing capabilities• Checked and validates test reports in compliance with the minimum testing requirements in according with the approved quality control programs and submitted monthly material reports of all project.• Provides technical service related to identification of construction materials and soil re- classification for variation order claims;• Supervises all construction directly implemented by the regional office performs periodic inventory of approved quarries.• Participates in the conduct of final inspection for completion or acceptance of locally founded project; Ascertains that all materials in corporate in to the work pass the requirements of (ASTM) standard specification for Highway, Bridge and Airports and to strictly comply with schedule of minimum testing requirements.

• Over all supervision of staff and technical discuses with staff prepared mix design of Asphalt and deferent class of cement concrete jointly with consultant material engineer• Evaluating the field and laboratory testing • Evaluating that the laboratory are adequately equipped and capable of performing all the specified testing requirements, of contractor, conduct site visit and inspect the workers for conformity with specification, • Evaluating pavement design and bitumen’s mix design work as well as earth works.• Reviewing test result by both consultant and contractor and their respective pavement &material reports & advice on the way forward • Review and strictly implementation the project technical specification pertinent notes indicate on the test issued plan engineering change notice e.g site instruction supplement specification and testing procedure.• Conduct initial inspection as soon as respective segments of particular items of review of control testing for compliance with the contractor requirement • Issues non –conformance and corrective action when work has been executed in fall compliance with contractor • Ensure completeness of project documents for project close out. • Check / certificates design mixes prepared by contractor for Concretes, Bituminous mixtures.• Acquaints himself fully with the standard procedures of sampling, testing and control;• Sees to it that the field laboratory is adequately equipped so that the progress of that work will not be impeded;• Keeps a record of the daily activities ready for inspection any time;• Submits within required time frame test reports and other pertinent documents.
