Business Management Company – EMC – L2 Engineer Dec 09 – Till today Riyadh, KSAClient: Mobily - project – HMC Job Responsibilities: • Experience in storage arrays VNX 7500.• Collect logs for verification the faults.• Creating RAID groups, binding LUNs, creating Meta LUNs, creating Storage Groups, registering hosts, zoning, Power Path, Unishphere Manager.• Creating Storage pool, Storage Group, Creating LUNs and configured with Different Raid Levels• Storage provisioning to exiting production servers.• Creating Remote Mirror in Storage Array and adding secondary image.• Creating Consistency Group, and adding the client to consistency group.• Providing support to EMC Customer Engineers onsite during installation and various maintenance activities.• Gathering Host environment issues using EMC Reports and EMC Grab to resolve host related issues on the San network.• Gathering the Reports for maximum hardware failures occurring on EMC VNX Boxes.• Monitoring and reporting the problem according to vendor SLA.• EMC Networker, Legato Networker Backup Administration.• Experience in configuration / re-configuration of client machines to ensure optimum connectivity with storage and backup solution. • Administration, Networker Backup with Exchange module, SQL module, Networker Module for Microsoft.• Creating clients and groups with networker console, and adding client to group, schedule the backup.• Configuring group to Media pool.• Working with Data Domain.• Troubleshoot and correct common SAN management issue.• Fiber channel connectivity trouble shooting with (FcoE).• Creating Alias, Zone and configure zoning.• Zoning and other SAN tasks using CLI and GUI based tools.• Identify troubleshooting steps for the different components• Troubleshooting the SAN connectivity on different Operating Systems like Windows,• Configure HBA, Installing HBA drivers and other HBA Management software such as Sansurfer and HBA any ware.
