Working for semiconductor project as project control & IT support

Working for IU&I (Technip /FLUOR/Petronas JV) at RAPID Project in Pengerang, Johor.• Support new comer & existing staff mobilized to site from home office Kuala Lumpur with theircredential, PC or Laptop & also their required software.• Inventories all IT equipment for both Technip & Fluor.• Involved in forecast IT infrastructure plan for OUIJV / PMC & Petronas.• Recommend and providing consultancy services related to Equipment and Software,workflow and work process including policies and guidelines regarding security, securecommunication (Telephony, Videoconference, E-mail Lotus Notes - Fluor & Microsoft Outlook -Technip), home connectivity, connectivity when travelling, mobile office, etc.• Supporting both Technip & Fluor system architecture and software usage.• Installing, supporting and maintaining the security related systems and devices includingsecure email, secure USB memory sticks, etc.• Managing the IT processes for new End Users and End Users who move betweendepartments & buildings.• Supporting virtual meetings including videoconferencing system (cisco tandberg), ciscowebex, audio conferencing (AVAYA - Fluor / ALCATEL - Technip / CISCO - Petronas ), cisco Telepresence.• Coordinate with IBM for servers installation at site.• Liaises with IT contractor for any changes on the IT infra such as LAN connection and RAWinternet access.• Supporting IU&I staff located in Temporary Contractor Facilities (TCF) with their accesswithout Fluor/Technip Network.• Follow-up with Fluor helpdesk or Technip IT service desk for any pending issues or openticket.

Working onsite for Shell IT services in Johor Bahru Yard (MMHE – Malaysia Marine & HeavyEngineering).Support end user to any IT related problem (Remotely / Onsite) eg: outlook issue, logonissue, office communicator issue, software issue, dekstop issue, laptop issue, network issueand also printer issue• Involved in Cost Pressure Index (CPI) activity to cut the cost which impacting on ITRecommending and providing consultancy services related to Equipment and Software,workflow and work process including policies and guidelines regarding security, securecommunication (Telephony, Videoconference, E-mail), home connectivity, connectivity whentravelling, mobile office, etc.• Assisting the Shell Group or any other Suppliers by acting as the local party in any centrallymanaged projects or customer initiated projects.• Installing, supporting and maintaining the security related systems and devices includingsecure email, secure USB memory sticks, etc.• Managing the IT processes for new End Users and End Users who move betweendepartments.Supporting virtual meetings including Lync, net meeting, videoconferencing, large events(talks to staff), etc.• Installing new technology and/or applications in accordance with Shell standards.• Liaise with vendor (AT&T - networking / HP - Hardware / T-System - Servers)• Act as a focal point for IT vendor who visit yard for site survey or troubleshoot any IT issues• Call to Shell IT helpdesk if issue need an administrator access or any problem on servers side• Escalate issues to higher level if issues is not solved correctly by respective team• Inventories all IT equipment in stock and need to request to respective team if stock dry• Rack-up/settings servers and Tape Library for oil platform. • Liaise with MMHE IT regarding any issue with IT Infra for shell offices. • Support offshore users with IT needed.• Working with all Shell UI projects such as Gumusut Kakap, F14/F29 & Malikai TLP DeepwaterProject.

- Installing / settings CCTV product including IP Camera.- Troubleshoot on customer side support for computers / LAN / CCTV / Access Door / WAN.- Manage firewall / NAS /router / switches on customer side.- Design network / CCTV cabling for customer including fiber optic solution.- Give advice/consultation for customer regarding network / CCTV / Access Door.- Training CCTV / Access Door for customers.- Maintain overall LAN/WAN including Cisco router for contract customers.

- Maintain/troubleshoot network connections. (Including network cable, wall panel, patch panel)- Maintain/troubleshoot networking devices such as router, switch, firewall, server.- Implement monitoring system for monitor the network traffic from inside and outside connection.- Maintain/troubleshoot all staff IT related item such as PC, laptop, printers, fax server, fax machines,scanner and copier.- Schedule the backup on database, base on daily backup.- Maintain/troubleshoot for linux and windows server, especially on web server, database server, mail server(host outsource), FTP server and backup server.- Testing all new software provide by Microsoft under the Action Pack License.

- Troubleshoot Unix Server.- Implement new server on-site with Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) operating system (OS).- Installing and troubleshooting Novell software such as ZEN and GroupWise.- On-site testing on BlueCoat proxy devices.
