- To handle and keep safe patients medical records received from ward department.- Tagging and arranging medical records in the storage room according to proper classification system.- To update clinical information in the Casemix system (MalaysianDRG).- To update clinical information in Sistem Maklumat Rawatan Perubatan (SMRP).- To check daily ward census received and to update in the system.- To assist in coding diseases of discharged patients according to International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10).- To assist in borrowing and returning of medical records.- To assist in medical report application process.- To assist in sorting inactive medical records for disposal process.- Responsible to strictly maintain the confidentiality of all records in the unit. - To provide assistance in the preparation of medical audit.
