I am an experienced Business Leader with a background in Economics and relevant experience in banking, financial, and strategic advisory. I have an extensive practical toolkit in business management, due diligence, sales, and agile project management.Over the course of my career, I have worked with several companies at various stages in their evolution in financial and strategic advisory, management, and business development roles, with a focus on offering high value for business continuity and sustainability. I have experience in developing and leading infrastructure projects and working on complex transactions, including acquisitions, partnerships, and developmental and energy transition projects. I also have a good understanding of project finance, the process of getting projects funded, and the ability to track and follow up on multiple deals/projects concurrently.I have served as the Group Business development manager at MP Infrastructure, where I was primarily responsible for crafting the strategy for and implementing group-wide expansion and diversification initiatives. Overall, I have worked on various development projects with UNICEF, DFID, the Institute of Human Virology, the World Bank, and also with I H S, a leading TowerCo in Africa, where he was involved in strategic advisory for one of the biggest energy transition projects I have a hands-on understanding of the Nigerian off-grid market and the clean energy sector in general including other associated energy markets.Of particular interest to me is the opportunity to work with start-ups and small and medium businesses, helping them become more competitive and profitable in a self-sustainable manner. This came with the responsibility of developing cost-benefit structures for off-takers, needs assessment, marketing concepts, and growth opportunities over a 5-year period.• Eriwe, Ijebu ode fishing community off-grid project. Responsible for developing the concept paper, financial and economic impact review, cost-benefit analysis, and project P & L for a 100kw mini-grid plant for West Africa’s largest fishing community resulting in 23% growth in fish production and sales. The lead Idea was to cut down the farm’s carbon footprint, assure food security, and stabilize the market for domestic fish production by reducing key input costs (energy) for feed production and overall cost to market/ Kg of fish.
