For 15 years, I have freelanced as my time has allowed for individuals and businesses in my personal network—from branding & identity to packaging to marketing collateral. This work is very fulfilling and has allowed me to stretch my visual communication skills outside of the brands that I have worked for in-house.

I led a collaborative Brand Design team of seven that supported the Specialty Bike and Powersports channels of the Bell and Blackburn brands, as well as a portion of the Mass channel. I worked closely with the Global Marketing, Product, and Sales Managers on new product launches, compelling story-telling, and comprehensive consumer journeys. It was my responsibility to maintain a consistent brand identity and style that built upon our global identity and reputation while showcasing our product innovation. My team of digital and print designers, production artists, and photographer/videographers created original content for global distribution of digital and print marketing, including web design, social media, digital and print advertising, packaging, catalogs, events and tradeshows, photography, and video production. In addition to providing Creative Direction for all creative and marketing projects, I managed the department’s budget, including equipment and travel, served as lead print designer for Bell Bike and Powersports, and implemented Project Management software for the Creative and Marketing departments.

As Sr. Graphic Designer I was responsible for the look and feel of the Bell Specialty Bike division. I designed product catalogs, product packaging, print advertising, event and tradeshow booth graphics and promotional items, as well as posters, banners, fliers, and presentations.

I designed packaging, catalogs, advertising, and other assets for the Mass and Licensed divisions using provided Brand and Style Guides. Licensed properties included Disney, Mattel, and Sesame Street. I also helped implement Creative Workflow Management software for the Creative and Marketing departments.

While maintaining graphic design responsibilities, I led strategic marketing initiatives and assisted the Marketing Manager with the development and supervision of the marketing and design teams to maintain an efficient and streamlined department. I collaborated with design team members to create concepts, layouts, and designs based on promotional needs. I also coordinated and approved marketing and print projects, and worked closely with the web designer on the design, development, and maintenance of multiple websites.

As one of six in-house designers, I designed and created marketing collateral for both domestic and international distribution. Responsibilities included brand and logo development, ad design, package design, web design, email marketing, photo manipulation/optimization, and research. Collateral included product catalogs, posters, banners, ads, fliers, brochures, and promotional material.

Responsibilities included inventory control, lot tracking, raw material sourcing and purchasing, production coordination of contract packaging, project management, product development, logistics, quality control, documentation design and development, Department Lead for two ERP software implementations.
