Today, Cyberjaya has 506 MSC companies including 42 MNCs and 6 universities. Reporting to the CFO, recruited to lead major corporate finance projects: • Led M&A project to acquire 400-acre land & buildings (value RM 3B) in Cyberjaya and review strategic business growth plans on the new 20-year Cyberjaya Masterplan. • Led study on the implementation plan of IPO, REITS and Sukuk Bond on the company’s Investment and Intellectual Properties.• Led divestment of a Penang-based high-tech manufacturing subsidiary with 350 local workers, completed on May 2019.• Led the complex loan restructuring involving 2 ministries, 2 lenders (MOF and a local bank) and 2 borrowers (Cyberview and a local developer). Also managed additional loans portfolio (> RM 1B) with several banks.• As a Joint Project Management Committee (JPMC) member, supported development of the Cyberjaya City Centre covering 55 acres of land (GDV RM 5B) with an MRT stop, a JV with a major local developer. Also, development of a new 288-bed Cyberjaya government hospital, completed by mid 2021. • Supported delivery of Rekascape, a 30,000 sq feet commercial development to complement existing ecosystem built for entrepreneur start-ups, completed Feb 2019.• Prepared bid for a concession tender in June 2018 to operate KLIA gas district cooling (GDC) plant, one of the largest in Asean. Leveraged the expertise of our subsidiary, Megajana, operating the Cyberjaya GDC plant. -
