My name is Azzahra Buana and I am currently a senior at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), pursuing an Information Systems degree at UNLV Lee Business School, one of the 189 business colleges and schools worldwide to hold international dual accreditation in business and accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), ranked at the top 5% of business schools worldwide.From a young age, I have always had a passion for the business industry. I began with a customer service job to gain insight as to how businesses work and I have noticed that their social media content, with the help from their social media strategist, attracts hundreds of customers daily. This has inspired me to look in depth about digital analytics and its effects on today’s market. I had the opportunity to enhance my analytics and data visualization skills while interning at the Nevada Department of Education, where I managed and analyzed trends and social media content to attract prospects from sponsors. I also assisted two departments: Information and Media Technologies and Computer Science, with event management, such as the 2020 Nevada State Computer Science Summit: Achieving 20/20 Vision for CS Education both in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada.
