Over 14 years’ experience working in architectural practices on both housing and retail projects, producing planning packages, Revit models and visuals. Extensive knowledge of key software programs such as Revit and Lumion, as well as solid competency in the use of CAD and Photoshop. Knowledge of quality standard, building regulations HQI and LTH requirements. Efficient and dependable, with an eye for detail, producing work to a high standard and consistently meeting business deadlines.Working with multiple, diverse clients on various projects from single customised dwellings, large scale housing developments and complete area regeneration projects such as ‘MK Regen’ which involved designing over 15 small site projects across Milton Keynes. Promoted to Lead Visualiser after introducing the company to Lumion, a 3D rendering program allowing for Revit models to be turned in to photo realistic renders in a short amount of time. This led to the company updating its website and portfolio by offering clients a more extensive service of final visualisation. I am now building a team around me as demand increases. Advanced competency in Revit has led to my role as the company’s Revit specialist. My responsibilities include training, producing templates and family libraries, and the auditing of final models produced by colleagues, giving rise to an increase in the ease and speed of producing Revit models throughout the company. My knowledge of Revit has also allowed me to create collaborative models (BIM L2) where both the structural engineer and M&E consultant all work on a shared Revit model. Collaborating alongside developers including Bellway and Redrow, to draw up house types and site plans within specified time frames for developments of up to 100+ houses. Designing and drawing bespoke houses following Building Regs, LTH and HQI requirements has provided extensive knowledge in all three areas.Highly experienced in producing drawing packages from planning stage, including full coloured site plans and visuals in multiple styles. Working alongside project architects to provide clients with sketch layouts to full packages of plans and elevations ready for planning application. Regularly involved in building regulations, aiding the technical team by preparing drawings packages ready for full detailing.
