The Namma Karavali App focuses on local news issues and provides the news in the summary of news in less than 60 words in Kannada and English. Serving Facts and not opinions.“Namma Karavali” android app emphasizes on delivering periodic news about the Karavali region handpicked from numerous news websites. The app created an opportunity to explore various things about Karavali region including, latest local news and info, entertainment, share photos and videos, job opportunities etc. This app also brings about the information on various tourist places to see, education, shopping, trends etc.My role was to:- Report to the CEO and match the Product Vision of the App.- Attract Talent and Build the Technology Team- Get the Best practices for development, testing and Deployment in an Agile approach- Implement CI/CD Pipeline for automated deployments.- Integrate Analytics and Analyse User Behaviour- Gather user feedback and plan Product roadmap with the team for future features, like voice bot and search in the Kannada Language.- Ensure the App rating was above 4.5 Stars.

DropmyCard.com was our Final year project and an attempt to make a startup. DropmyCard.com is like Linkedin but as what Twitter : Facebook. We wanted to put the Visiting Card or Contact cards on the cloud.When a businessperson has to share his contacts in order to build and promote his/her business, he uses a business card. A Traditional business card or visiting card does contain information about the person like his name, designation for the company which he/she works, working email, etc and other contact details. But when a businessperson gets to meet another businessperson, at a gathering of professionals where they exchange contacts. Now if a businessman runs short of out for business cards, it becomes an embarrassing moment. Linkedin is a professional business network, which allows a person to connect with another person and build a network of business contacts. Most of the time even simple tasks like sending a connection request to a person involves knowing the email address of the person he wants to connect which is for security and privacy reasons. But the person who wants to contact may not know the email address in this case.DropMyCard, was designed for simplicity in its user interface, avoids the complications and addresses the security and privacy issues. Or let us pick another scenario where a businessman just got back from the gathering of professionals and he wants to connect with all of the people that he met. He pulls out the stack of business cards or goes through the social network of choice searching for each one by one. In both the scenario it becomes difficult for a person to find or get back to a person with his contact details. So we thought how about solving both problems at once? Instead of having a printed business card, how about saving a tree and start using a virtual one.
