My first startup took me to Silicon Valley at the age 25. I thought I was gonna be the next zuckerberg.(spoiler I never became that). I never had that first customer or raised money. I realized that the best way to learn how to build a startup is to work for a great one. I wanted to learn everything there is to marketing. I didn't know what I needed to do to get there. All I had was a small blog. All my friends were taking corporte jobs in Europe and were often skeptical about my irrational passion for startups. I started interviewing at Veamly, a silicon valley startup, for a marketing internship I knew deep down I was not qualified for. I was impressed by the team and the product that was taking shape and the comraderies. On my first day my boss Emna onboarded me and told me one day I can be a great marketer. I moved from intern to employee #3 working directly with the CEO Emna for the next 3 years. We built a product ahead of its time that led to a new category (unified workspaces/the future of work) and generated an 8M USD pipeline bootstrapped. Around the same time, I have joined founder institute the number 1 b2b accelerator in the world where I have helped +30 founders to take products to market and taught them how to build a sustainable content engine.
