I am a seasoned professional who has a passion for developing relationships with employers for the purpose of initiating internships, full-time job opportunities and career related events. I have spearheaded the new Road to the Workplace career trip program in which students visit the workplaces of various employers. I plan and conduct employer relations activities as well as review resumes, conduct mock interviews and counsel students on internship preparation. Work closely with the Alumni Relations office in order to network with Marist alumni to create new employment opportunities for students. I coordinate the On Campus Recruitment Program (OCR) in which employers come to campus to interview students for internships and/or full-time employment as well as facilitate employer information sessions.Previously served as an Adjunct Instructor for Employment Practicum Course. The course is a one credit web-based course (with three in-class sessions) designed for juniors and seniors to assist with job and internship search techniques as well as preparing resumes and cover letters and more.Serve on various search committees to hire administrative staff at Marist. Secured three (3) grants from Enterprise Holdings Foundation to be used for programs for the Center for Career Services.I initiated the first Linkedin Photobooth at Marist in fall 2015. In addition, I initiated the Diversity Works Newsletter, which eventually evolved into the Diversity Works Magazine. I initiated the Intern of the Year Award and Intern Employer of the Year Award at Marist in 1993.I serve as a member of the School of Management Advisory Board and the Diversity and Inclusion Alumni Advisory Board. In addition, serve on the Editorial Board Meetings, chaired by the Director of Media Relations.I am a member of the Mid-Hudson Career Consortium, the NYS Cooperative & Experiential Education Association (NYSCEEA), National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and National Society of Experiential Education (NSEE).I was quoted and pictured in several local and regional newspapers and magazines. I was quoted in article, "When Job Hunting, What You Don't Know Can Hurt You" in the Black Collegian Magazine. In addition, I was quoted in a Black Enterprise Magazine story, "Beyond the Call of Duty: If You Want to Succeed - Overachieve".
