Current- Worked Agile with a team to create an open-source development tool helping facilitate quick adoption of new App Router features for Next.js, reaching over 15,000 users since launch in September of 2023.- Utilized React Hooks to encapsulate stateful logic within functional components, promoting code cleanliness, modularity, and maintainability, ultimately ensuring persistent state across user interactions and route changes while preserving component hierarchies.- Harnessed React Flow's interactive node-based diagram capabilities in conjunction with Elkjs's layout algorithm library to create and position nodes into structured data-driven trees.- Employed Chakra UI component library to quickly create intuitive and visually consistent modals, tree-nodes, pop-overs, tooltips, and list components.- Used VSCode's Webview API and File System API to optimize file management processes, ensuring instantaneous access to user files and enhancing productivity through a responsive extension.- Led creation of a multi-stage user validation process, employing measures to validate and authorize file deletion actions, bolstering data protection and user confidence.- Developed user requested sub-tree traversal and focus feature with path history using a stack data structure, providing a more easily readable tree display.- Addressed user reported bugs for file system read and write errors with path normalization, providing platform compatibility across Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
