B.J.’s passion for agriculture and livestock runs deep. He grew up on an Ohio farm where his family raised purebred Hampshire hogs as well as sheep and horses. B.J. studied animal science at Oklahoma State University and was first exposed to cattle photography while acting as the Director of Junior Activities for the American Maine-Anjou Association. Collaboratively, these experiences led to the creation of Livestock Promotions, a company dedicated to creating added market value for farmers and ranchers through superior livestock imaging. After quickly becoming an industry leader in livestock video, B.J. soon began experimenting with video outside the picture pen. There, his passions blended most uniquely and Herdmark Media, Inc. was born with the goal of telling the story of agriculture through exceptional photos and videos.Today, Herdmark Media is the sole focus for B.J., who, along with his team, produces visual content for commodity organizations and companies throughout all of agriculture.
