Initial phases required securing, baselining and maximizing the performance of in-place systems: Moved the infrastructure to a managed private cloud, migrated unsupported SQL databases, upgraded the enterprise network, and implemented robust private cloud and endpoint security solutions. While moving through these foundational improvements, began framing the projects to overhaul the enterprise business applications and chemical compounding/fulfillment systems. Currently executing on a ‘cloud first’ portal development and data architecture implementation project in MS Azure for customer-facing administration, search and order requirements. In parallel, a back-end chemical Materials Management/Fulfillment system is being implemented within a configurable SaaS solution that will provide for next generation automation, quality and speed. Also initiated is a project to upscale the business processes associated with the new platform by migrating five business units from an on-prem ERP instance to MS Business Central, a part of the MS D365 ecosystem.
