Berenice's responsibilities include providing vision and inspiration while ensuring the highest quality of instruction for students. As Head of School, Berenice provides leadership in the development of the International Baccalaureate Programme and philosophy within the framework of Alexander Academy's mission, vision, and values. Alexander Academy is a grade 10-12 independent high school located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Berenice is responsible for the administration of the International Baccalaureate Program and BC's New Curriculum, policy development, schoolwide professional development, student and faculty recruitment and evaluation, marketing, budgeting, site development, British Columbia's Ministry of Education and International Baccalaureate compliance, school safety, and general operations of Alexander Academy.
