About Brandon Liew
I am a mixed-media designer on fashion, creative technology, and modern references to change its connecting industries. Having always looked towards the future of fashion and its relationship with performance in various conditions, I’ve come to find the importance of connecting different mediums, markets, and fields. These days, challenges in the industry regarding communication and waste can be more effectively addressed due to innovation in areas of design development and sampling. I aim to take advantage of what computing has to offer in prototyping to create controlled visualizations/experiences in tandem with the physical production of garments and products. I love traveling, having spent plenty of time in Japan and Asia in general, where I have established meaningful connections and an experience for the market. I studied abroad in Korea for two years and was also a backup dancer during my time there. I am based in New York, but was in Milan to continue my studies, and have just now finished at Adidas in Germany. I am currently pursuing opportunities in London at the moment~If I'm not working on design or production, I am probably watching sci-fi/horror flicks, dancing, playing guitar, rock climbing, building model kits, or just plain tinkering. I have always been a crafty person and I would love to contribute my interest of stem and human-centered design to industries related towards fashion, furniture, architecture, product design, film, gaming, materials, programming, or even engineering.I am passionate, constantly learning, and am committed to different opportunities that will help me develop skills and experiences to benefit others with design.In terms of software, I work in clo 3d, blender, unreal engine, zbrush, fusion 360, key shot, c4d, photoshop, illustrator.
