Key Highlights /Responsibility:* Heads the Packaging Development team (for our Own Brands / Products) in Bharti Walmart for both Retail and Cash and Carry Business across all the vertical / functions (Grocery,HPC, Fresh, Bakery, Apparel, Home & Hardline)* Developed and built the Packaging team from scratch from its day one operation in India to till now * Responsible for the following functionso Creative Development ( Design development, Artwork development, Photo shoot , In storemarketing communication for our products )o Vendor Development / Management - (Identification, Nomination of Packaging vendor)o Packaging Structural Design development (Pack Size & Specifications, Shape)o Procurement of Packaging Material - (Cost Negotiation & Inventory management)o Supply Chain Management of Packaging Materialo Quality Control of Packaging Material (Creation of Standards / Guidelines / Testingprocedure, Shade cards etc...) o Packaging Sustainability Program

Primary Purpose of Position:1) Procurement of cost effective/quality packaging through internal and external resources.2) Development of timeline and execute all packaging projects as per the requirements.3) Creation of Standards and Guidelines for all types of Packaging, Materials, Process etc.4) Lead the team of Graphics Agencies and internal source in the creation and production of packaging graphics.5) Supplier orientation and training on Packaging development.

Headed the operations of both their Packaging and Printing Books division.Acted as Management Representative in implementing the ISO 9001 : 2000 and also implemented various Quality Tools.Was pivotal in the expansion of their two new units ( The turnover was almost doubled in this one year period during this tenure).
