The aircraft technical data was integrated into an Oracle 8i database with a JSP web interface.Part of an Oracle 9i development team that was tasked to design a database that tracks every LRU (Lowest Replaceable Unit) on the Patriot Missile System. Also, Part of Internet/Extranet web development team for the US Army's Blackhawk helicopter (H-60 series) logistics web site. The secure website includes streaming video (Real Video), online user registration (SQL Server 7), Internet GIS Mapping systems (ArcView IMS). Converted a legacy database using Access to a completely web based database using Oracle 8i Enterprise server and Oracle's WebDB product. Integrated Catia and CatWeb into the H-60 web site so logisticians and engineers can view the 3D Catia models from the website without having to run or install Catia on their local machine.

Lead the development team that was responsible for converting the Multimap GIS Sun Solaris based system to a Windows NT based system as well as "web-enabling" parts of the GIS system for use on the DOD secure extranet. The conversion was done from GNU C/C++ on the Sun Solaris platform to MS Visual C++ using the MFC libraries.Promoted to database administrator (DBA) after getting a Sybase DBA certification. The database contained over 11 million records spread across ten jukebox platters. This database was the first functional optical jukebox database using Sybase. Developed an application specific Geographic Information System using OSI's Multimap Developers System. The GIS contains approximately 2000 maps in approximately 30 Gigabytes of optical storage.Promoted to technical task leader responsible for definition of software engineering practices and methodologies to be employed in the development of a Graphical User Interface in the X-Window environment.
