Roles and Responsibilities:· Design and development of Media Isolated Pressure Sensor for Automotive, HVAC, Medical, Industrial & Transportation system.· New Product Development encompassing requirement analysis, finalizing specifications, feasibility studies & trade-off analysis for cost vs quality, competitor benchmarking.· Concept development and finalizing the optimum ideas as per the product requirement for further design. Proto-build for initial testing, customer & management demo with Creo modeling.· Predict, quantify & Mitigate technical risks in the product design using six-sigma tools such as DFMEA, DFM and in further stage with process flow chart & RCA.· Development and validation of fixtures for production implementation.· Validation of process steps with manufacturing team at different global locations to achieve DFM.· Prepare test plan for environmental testing, failure analysis with RPS methodology and design update.· Regular co-ordination with global partners and cross-functional teams to ensure that technical objectives are met and for timely project execution.· Preparing & releasing parts, assembly model and production drawings by using tools as Creo5.0, PDM & SAP Wind chill.

Roles and Responsibilities:· Design and development of Environmental Monitoring System which is an IoT project is a fusion of 16 sensors with a gateway & cloud connectivity. The system developed to monitor the climate of cities.· New Product Development encompassing requirement analysis, finalizing specifications, feasibility studies & trade-off analysis for cost vs quality, competitor benchmarking, multiple concept development with Pugh Matrix, project planning, VOC gathering with marketing, vendor development, interaction with cross-functional team, detail designing, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping, testing and development of jigs & fixtures.· Development of hi-level product architecture from system engineering perspective.· Concept development and finalizing the optimum ideas as per the product requirement for further design. Proto-build for initial testing, customer & management demo.· Prepare test plan for environmental testing, failure diagnosis and design update.· Coordinating with partners at global locations and cross-functional teams to ensure that technical objectives are met and for timely project execution.

Overview of the Project: Design of Inertial Measurement Unit for construction & heavy earth movers’ market. This product was available for Aerospace with very high cost. IMUs are sensing devices that incorporate at least two (and often three) types of sensors to measure a host device’s location in three-dimensional space.

• Generating new product concepts with set based concurrenting engineering approach, sketching/rendering skills, 3D designs with CAD tool Creo.• Mechanism designs with Creo.• Knowledge of plastic part design, sheet metal design, design for manufacturing/assembly (DFM/DFA).• Responsible for creating BOM, gd&t and assembly stackup.• Design concept presentations to product team to communicate the design approach. • Knowledge of Wind-chill, PDM, Enovia for product data management.• Brainstorming and conceptualizing design ideas.• Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing, FEA team, tooling suppliers, manufacturing co-makers, prototyping suppliers and quality teams. • Creation of flow charts to evaluate the process steps of functional testing at vendor place.• Collaboration with vendors and suppliers for mock ups, rapid prototyping models, fixture design and manufacturing for product validation testing.Responsible for releasing of final drawings of products for manufacturing through PDM system.Projects handled: Pressure sensor, Inertial measurement unit, speed sensor.

> 3D modeling & extraction of electrodes for injection moulds, press tools & jigs and fixtures using Pro/E Wildfire-2.> Extraction of the 3D Assembly to 2D drawing and detailing for manufacturing.> Designing of Dies & Fixtures to support manufacturing process.> Designing and assembly of various parts using Pro-e wildfire 2 and Auto CAD 2006.> Design and development of jigs, fixtures & work holdings for CNC milling, EDM & wire cutting machining.> Interacting with vendors, tool room and production department for tooling development, & tool follow up.Projects handled: Smart card, PC card, SP vice, Pin organizer etc.

Programming and work scheduling for CNC Machining Center, CNC EDM and wire edm machines.Manufacturing planning for mold base plates, core & cavity inserts machining.
