Nothing stops me from becoming better every day. Started as a Mechanical Engineer, I went into Sales and Business Development in the IT field. After a year of bootcamp in Web Development, I started taking on Digital Marketing and App Development projects. It was here I found my interest in data, which ultimately led me to learn Data Science and become a Business Analyst.Currently I am pursuing my Masters in Business Analytics at the National University of Singapore while working as a Business Development Manager at Posify, a start-up which focuses on allowing SMEs to achieve an Omni-channel sales approach which are usually only available to bigger companies due to their high cost. At Posify I am responsible for the SEO/SEM activities while managing the Sales Funnel, Sales Support and also preparing teasers for investment opportunities.My interest in data started a year ago while developing apps for a variety of industries, which allowed me to look into AWS, UI Path and Qlikview/Qliksense. This involves creating an app hosted in AWS that takes in data from user-submitted excel stored in an enterprise storage system (migrated into the app using UI Path) and consolidated through a robust ETL layer to be visualized in Qlik. The experience of architecting the flow of data from end-to-end and seeing the final results drives me to learn more, especially once you know the amount of time and resources that people can save from using my ideas.There is rarely a dull moment in my pursue and that’s why I love it!•••Key Achievement•••Developed Qlikview Dashboards that consolidates the client’s financials from Oracle HFM and configured the Qlik Server to distribute the dashboards throughout the company.Developed a trade consolidation app (Rails 6 + React.js + Dockerised on AWS) that allows a boutique trading firm to manage all their trades.Radically increase conversion rate and click rate for my company’s SEM through proper Google Adword management.
