• Augmented the React Native Windows (RNW) open-source framework in C++ to resolve pixelation issues with SVG image assets, significantly improving image resolution while reducing memory usage by approximately 20x during rendering processes.• Contributed to multiple significant updates of an internal Windows-based UI framework written in TypeScript, impacting various components and applications across the system• Implemented Jest as a testing framework to automate unit and integration testing for an internal TypeScript module, improving testing efficiency and reliability.

• Designed and implemented an end-to-end image-search feature that allowed users to take a picture of a wine label and get back the set of matching wines from the database• Used the Google Cloud Vision API housed inside a Firebase Function to parse text from images, and Firebase storage to store the image taken by the user• Implemented a full-text search function in PostgreSQL to query multiple fields of the table simultaneously using the parsed text; wrote function to automatically create and update indexed column for 30% faster searching• Implemented and debugged app’s connection and interaction with physical BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices to allow for monitoring of sensor data• Integrated all above features into an existing React Native codebase, as well as refactoring significant parts of the app to improve readability

My primary focus during this internship was developing a Jira Forge app that would integrate with the company's cloud Jira site and output developer performance based on a number of Jira metrics (ie. issues resolved, time taken, story points, etc.). This would automate a task that previously took employees multiple days to complete. The app was built as a Forge app with Custom UI, with React for the front-end. Processing time was optimized by limiting number of API calls and making use of pagination.

Designed and developed the online platform to enable on-demand learning, accessible for free to everyone. Led a team of 25+ instructors, editors, and managers to produce revision material for 15+ different CIE subjects, which was utilised by 900+ students at various grade levels.

Made myself available to peers on campus and online at scheduled hours to aid them with any problems or confusions regarding Computer Science, and often various other subjects as well. Recorded revision videos to provide material for exam preparation.

Using the MERN (React Native) stack, developed the back-end server and designed (Adobe XD) and developed the native app for Nitoxi, which was later ported to the web (as a Progressive Web App).

Re-designed and upgraded the organisation's Wordpress-based website. Successfully launched the SUIT app as the NFS' new flagship digital product. Developed an online stock trading simulator for use in the annual Skyline entrepreneurial competition.

Developed an online hub to efficiently distribute class notes to peers. Various technologies were employed during development, including but not limited to NodeJS, ExpressJS, and MongoDB, and AWS for file hosting.
