The main focus of my Ph.D. research included:- To explore the travel pattern of the Victorians and their mode of travel preference- To understand the transition behavior of motorcycle riders to get a PTW riding licence- To understand travelers’ safety concerns, attitudes, considerations, and expectations- To study and model the commuting travel behavior of Victorians, in particular, motorcycle ridersKey tasks and responsibilities:- Analyzed VISTA data using SPSS and Multinomial Regressions modeling- Ran focus groups and interviews and designed follow-up surveys- Examined different requirement strategies and approaches- Analyzed the survey data collected using SPSS- Structural equation modeling (by AMOS) in the framework of the theory of planned behavior- Prepared papers and conducting presentations- Conducted routine meeting to present project achievements and limitations to the stakeholders including Transport Accident Commission (TAC), VicRoads, and Department of Transport (DOT)
