Dr. Babak Farhangi is a power electronics expert with more than 20 years of experience in technology and product development for residential, industrial, and automotive renewable energy systems. He holds a Ph.D. degree from Texas A&M University as well as M.S. and B.S. degrees from the University of Tehran, all in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics. He has developed technologies for grid-connected photovoltaic inverters and bi-directional vehicular energy storage systems. His research has been published in several high impact-factor journals, transactions, proceedings, and book chapters. He is an IEEE senior member and an active member of IEEE Power Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Electron Devices, and Industry Applications societies.
