About Dr Babak Hamidi
A highly technical and commercial professional with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, I have worked on some of Australia's most prestigious projects with challenging, deep foundations, deep excavations, ground improvement works, and a number of world record geotechnical projects overseas. I have a proven track record of demonstrating my technical abilities from design stage to completion of construction with a strong commercial acumen. Having worked with some of the world’s leading specialist geotechnical engineers, not only have I been able to build my experience based on my own work, but have also benefited from the experiences that others have gained in some of the world’s most innovative or challenging projects.I have been a member of ISSMGE TC-211 for since 2010 and am currently the Committee's Chair.
