As an Associate research enginerr Fellow at University of Caen Normandie inFrance as well as Robotics and Electronic integration Engineer, and former Ph.D. researcher in the Dept. of Informatics, Control and systemsEngineering of University of Calabria, I have devoted myself to the Control schemesfor Robotics area, especially Distributed Model Predictive Control for 5 years. In mycurrent work I mainly focus on the practical research of designing and constructingstructured and deterministic DMPC for real unmanned Aerial vehicles. In this model,a novel distributed model predictive control architecture is proposed for thecoordination and control of multi-vehicle formations moving within uncertainenvironments. Afterwards, the key aim consists in mitigating the high memoryconsumption, resulting from local computations and the exploitation of a growingnumber ofsensors as the involved agents increase, when path planning and obstacleavoidance requirements are concerned. In the end, multi-agent swarm modelling andleader-follower configurations are jointly exploited. Probability, matrixtransformation, optimization and algorithm programming are extensively used in myresearch, and analytical and computing skills are highly substantial.
