My research cores over the past ten years of my professional career include, but are not limited to the following; Numerical simulation of flood propagation, Dam break problem,Water quality modeling, Environmental assessment, Hydraulic and Hydrological studies, Using GIS application in water resource management and environmental issues, Sediment transport, and River engineering. I worked as an expert in consulting engineers companies. I participated in different national and international symposiums and conferences. I have excellent computer skills, including programming, HEC-RAS, SMS, GIS, CFD, and other information systems.

In my studies as a Ph.D. student in the hydraulic and environmental fields, I have focused on utilizing simplified techniques. These methods were used for predicting peak flood discharge and flood propagation. Also, the importance of reservoir morphology to predict peak discharge due to dam breaching has been analyzed during my Ph.D. study. Also, I have investigated the importance of the power function to represent the reservoir morphology in several dams in Utah, Texas and Calabria.
